Whaaaaa? A Thursday?! Oh yes, I find myself working midweek from time to time (holiday season is coming up, you know - and they don't pay for themselves....lol).

I was a bit worried when I was asked to do this club, as it is a nightclub.  All the photos I could find on the 'net showed a huge hall area full of young 'uns.  I am quite happy to entertain all ages, but I must admit to worrying about my filling in for a band, whose fans may not welcome a solo act instead. On arrival, however, I was pointed to an area in the corner of the restaurant. Please don't get me wrong - I am just as happy on a big stage or a small area in the corner of a pub.  I just like to know what I'm going in to.

The restaurant was quite busy when I arrived, but unfortunately many of the people eating decided to leave before I had even started!  A good few people came and went for the first half, but by 11 o clock I was pretty much singing to Al and the bar staff.

All I can say is I'm glad I didn't bring both my bass bins!
