Saturday 27th March - Alva Masonic Hall, Alva

This hall was quite difficult to spot, but well worth the finding! The bar downstairs is tidy and well decorated, and the people are your usual mix of ages, tastes etc. A strong sense of humour came through, and my `wee win` on the bingo at half time (£5) brought with it cries of "She's no comin back!".

After the gig itself, I was shown the upstairs room, which was huge! It is used for cabaret, sports evenings and dances, and is superbly laid out and decorated. I then discovered the building has a third floor too! It certainly didn't show that from the outside!

The audience was small, but `perfectly formed`.  

I hope to appear here again, perhaps in their bigger room.
