Saturday 10th April 2005 - Bowhill Bowling Club

Well it took me a wee while to find this club, and I wondered for a minute if I was in the big Club in Bowhill! Once I arrived I met some of the nicest people I've come across. The steward and his wife were nice, down to earth people (I can't be posh!).

I was a bit worried at the beginning of the night when it seemed to be quite quiet, but everyone came out later, arriving about 8.30pm.  

The hall itself is long and narrow, and most of the members congregated at the far end, which made it difficult to see their reactions to some of my songs. Alan assured me, however, that they were having a good time.
