This pub was soooo quiet! It was a holiday weekend, so many people may have been away. The owner (Jennifer) had also had a birthday party at her house the night before, which seemed to be a good `un (she still had a hangover at 6pm when she came in!). Therefore many of the regulars may have been in the same condition!

A large group of young guys came in in the second half, and I had a chance to practise all of my rock songs, which went down a treat.

I think I overdid it, though. My throat is sore today at time of writing (Tuesday!) It may be that cold that's going about. I'll have to rest it this week if I'm to be ready for the weekend.
