Saturday 4th March - Allanbridge Social Club, Bridge of Allan

What a night!  I was appearing alongside an excellent comedienne called Marion Martell.  She was very down to earth, and her humour suited the crowd down to the ground.  She is not only a great comedienne, but her singing voice is strong and unique.  I enjoyed her act immensely.

I started at 11pm (late, to say the least) and finished at around 12.40am.  Not my usual all nighter, but then I rarely sing for an hour and forty minutes straight.  I was understandably tired by the end, but gave a good performance start to finish (even if I do say so myself).

Saturday 23rd July 2005 - Allanbridge Social Club, Bridge of Allan

Last time I did this club, Al and I left at the end of the night, saying what a great crowd they had been and how good it was to have people who appreciated my work and showed it. This time was probably better. It really does make the night go easier and probably reflects in the performance. Wee Mac was appearing on the same bill and was excellent entertainment. A true professional, he kept the crowd in fits of laughter for the whole hour he was on.
